What Does Joe Know - Organic Broccoli Slaw

A little bit of heaven from Trader Joe’s!
Trader’s organic broccoli slaw in a bag in veggie section
Trader’s slivered almonds
Trader’s dried cranberries
Trader’s Cranberry, Walnut & Gorgonzola Dressing in the refrigerated section

Mix your stuff together and toss with some dressing. It’s crazy good – I promise!!! And if you’re not a broccoli fan, try it anyway! I bet you don’t even know it’s broccoli!!

  1. Totally random place for this comment, but I've got another Joe Knows. The lemon papparadelle pasta. Yummmmmm! Here's what I do. Cook the pasta, obvi. But, then toss it with Rachel Ray's citrus cream sauce (it's an older recipe, here's one link to a modified version http://cheflysadavis.blogspot.com/2008/03/rachael-rays-pasta-w-citrus-cream-sauce.html). Then I take two large chicken breasts and butterfly them. Put Lemon Pepper and salt on each side and pan-sear in some oil. To deglase a bit, I squeeze the lemon juice from the zested lemon used in the recipe. I toss some cooked broccoli in with the pasta and some extra romano cheese, then slice up the chicken and put it on top of the servings individually. Seriously, one of my favorite meals now.

  2. This actually sounds super yummy. I will have to look for it on my next trip. Probably one of mine and my husband's favorite things from Trader Joe's is their hummus (just about any flavor) and their pita chips. My mouth is watering just thinking about some of their food. :)
