Burger & Fries

My husband is a huge burger fan, so along with real sliders and parmesan French fries, I made these for dessert at his birthday party. They were delicious – how could they not be?!

I saw them on Bakerella and she even has the templates for the cute fry containers that can say "Happy Father's Day" or they can be plain- check it out!

What's you'll need:
white cake mix for the buns
brownies for the burgers
sesame seeds
white frosting
flaked coconut
food coloring
sugar cookie mix for the fries
granulated sugar

Now head over to Bakerella and follow the directions.  It's so easy to do and the results are stunning and delicious. I added the flaked coconut dyed green to look like lettuce to Bakerella's plan.

Rainbow Cupcakes

Why not have a cupcake for dinner??? So I found this amazing idea online and I had to try it. It was a labor of love, but the results were so worth it!!

Make up white cake batter and divide it into 6 bowls. Color each bowl with a different color of the rainbow with food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). Then layer the batter in the lined cupcake pan and bake as directed. I found that I could only put about 1 ½ tsp. of each batter color in each cupcake to have enough to make 24. Enjoy!!
